This policy explains what personal information LiveHushh collects when you use our apps and livehushh.com, how we use it, and your choices. It works together with our Terms of Service.
To run LiveHushh: create and secure your account, show restaurants near you, send your orders, bookings and waitlist requests to restaurants, take payments, send confirmations and updates (email and push), prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Restaurants choose when to stream. Streams are live and are not recorded or stored by LiveHushh unless the restaurant saves a clip itself. Face blurring is used where the restaurant's camera setup supports it, and restaurants are asked to frame cameras on the kitchen, food and room — not on individual guests. If you see yourself in a stream and want it changed, email privacy@livehushh.com.
Some restaurant profiles are built from information the restaurant publishes on its own website (address, phone, menu, photos). Restaurant owners can claim, correct or ask us to remove these profiles at support@livehushh.com.
The website stores your sign-in session and display preferences (such as light or dark mode) in your browser's local storage. Payment pages load Stripe, which may set cookies to prevent fraud. We do not use advertising cookies.
We keep account information while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes (usually up to 7 years). When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
You can update your name in the app, turn off location or notifications in your device settings, and delete your account on our Account Deletion page. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia or Canada), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information. Email privacy@livehushh.com and we will respond within 30 days.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), managed sign-in and payment providers, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us straight away.
LiveHushh is not intended for children under 13, and accounts are for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
